Zac Phillips

Zac has had a varied and exciting sporting career. Having played cricket to a high standard he turned his attent ion to cycling, being drawn into the sport through the then new discipline of mountain biking. He quickly progressed through the ranks racing in cross-country, downhill and dual slalom. During this period he also raced in Europe, the USA and has experience of expedition cycling in the Andes.
After giving up cycling he took up boxing at a local amateur gym just to maintain fitness but his competitive streak drew him to White Collar Boxing. As soon as he stepped into the ring he knew it was the sport for him. Zac is currently the BWCBF Cruiser Weight champion having defended the title 6 times with 11 wins, 3 draws and 3 losses from 17 fights.
Recent achievements include being part of the winning Cityboxer team in the 2010 Tough Guy assault course, taking part in the 2011 Dextro Hyde Park Triathlon and is currently in training for the 2012 l'Etape Du Tour in the Pyrenees
As a trainer Zac can impart a wealth of fitness experience. An experienced teacher who has taught and managed Physical Education in a secondary school as well as a being a qualified ABA Level 2 coach , holder of a British Boxing Board of Control Seconds licence & ABA Boxing Awards tutor; sessions are of a very high quality and designed to meet your fitness goals fast.
